Two weeks in Burkina Faso and Mali: two sahelian countries in the very heart of West Africa, visited with a special look for cultures and local traditions, in order to meet with a lot of emotions all the different people living in this region.

A very interesting trip from an antropological point of view, in two countries which are not touched by the sea, and which are inhabited by different people, who have been living for centuries in the central region of West Africa, between desert and savanna, keeping generation after generation their traditions.

An extraordinary occasion to have a direct contact with the art which have been creating wonderful architectures, from the big mosques till little painted houses; with ceremonies during which you can have the impressive exibition of masks; with histories told from father to son, about old deities, magicians and sciamans.

The landscape variety make it easy to understand the variety of custons and economies: Tuareg, Bella et Peul se melangent avec les agriculteurs Songhai. Et puis les Dogon, les plus celebres et misterieux parmis les peuplesi de la region, auprés des quels le voyage offre une pause qui permet d'apprecier leur culture profonde et saisissante.
